Exim Security Update

CVE-2010-4344: A memory corruption vulnerability exists in Exim versions 4.69 and older
CVE-2010-4345: A privilege escalation vulnerability exists in Exim

If your server is running Exim 4.69-25 or older with maildir, or Exim 4.63-4 or older with mbox (deprecated), we highly recommend you upgrade asap.

You can check the version of exim you are running by typing the following in ssh: rpm -qa | grep exim

Your version may have already been upgraded due to a recent upgrades within cpanel. If the version shows Exim 4.69-26 (exim-4.69-26_cpanel_maildir or higher), then its more likely that you have been upgraded and you are secure. If it shows lower than that version, we highly recommend you update exim as soon as possible.

To upgrade Exim to the latest patched version, you can type the following in ssh atthe console: /scripts/eximup -force
