Australian-owned managed hosting provider Servers Australia buys Brisbane based web hosting company Chombo

Servers Australia Pty Ltd has reached an agreement with the owners of Chombo to purchase all Customers, Domain names and the Chombo name.

The move comes after some rough periods that Chombo has had over the past 12 months with some potential buy-outs falling through and a few other business related issues.

Servers Australia Managing Director Jared Hirst says " We will be purchasing the Chombo name, Customer list and Domains in a hope to try and re-lift the Chombo name and make it a well known hosting name like it was 12 months ago, we have revamped the website and services that chombo offers, along with adding new support options."

Chombo customers will not notice anything different apart from now being backed by the Servers Australia robust support team who will provide 24/7 assistance to customers with a 30 minute response guarantee, along with new plans and the addition of Virtual Servers to the service offering too.

Servers Australia currently employs over 20 staff and this acquisition will increase this number over time along with increasing the reliability and support for existing Chombo customers.
